Established in 1986, G.B. Promotions and Entertainments Agency, run by Diana and Gordon Bess, specialises in corporate entertainment, society events and private functions. Chris Gradwell is an associate of the Royal Academy of Music and has freelanced with all the London orchestras, especially the London Symphony, Royal Philharmonic and National Philharmonic.

 

He also founded and played with the London Saxophone Quartet, and has had his own big band - The Little Big Band. Over the years he has had a diverse range of engagements with many Wigmore and Purcell Room recitals, recording with many of the well-known film composers such as Henry Mancini and Gerry Goldsmith. Chris has recorded with Kiri Te Kanawa, John Williams, Joan Sutherland, Pink Floyd and Genesis for Dee Palmer. He taught Clarinet and Saxophone at Trinity College of Music in London for fifteen years. 

 

Since moving to Devon five years ago, Chris plays with The Beare Trio with Hilary Boxer and Andrew Daldorph, Le Jazz, The Little Big Band and AJ's Big Band. He is always excited by good music but especially the classical repertoire, and the jazz classic tunes from the twenties to the present day.
